Hi, I have a mk2 1.1 and wondered if when lowering -50mm, will it rub and do i need to cut the arches out, if so is this easy to do? Also, if i was 50mm down, would i need uprated dampers/shocks? Thanks, Sam.

get a decent lowering kit (of shocks and springs)
50mm shouldnt rub ut its dependnt on wheel size tbh (up to about 16s you should be ok as long as you have the correct tyre profile)
