Hi ppl, i have non vt door cards, which means that i have no fabric to begin with, i have been told that the once removed the cards can be re trimmed easily but dismantaling into sections, but as i havent got any material to begin with is this the case for me 2?! as i have just ordered some leather look material and was wondering how to do this to my model! thanks guys/girls

yes you could still retrim the base model cards, or you could get vt* cards from a scrappy etc and trim them. not a difficult job to do yourself and looks a lot better than the standard pish.

yer i have some nice material, its rezistanz blue leather look stuff, nice feel etc, would would you reccomend to stick it down with?! a glue gun maybe?! thanks

you can buy tins of spray glue from a fabric shop which imo would be better than a glue gun because with the spray you can apply the glue more evenly.

yea i thought that 2, however i will a gun too, as u have to brake the lug things that hold the card toghether to remove it into parts, i will put some hot glue onto these when i am putting it back together! thanks for ur help!

i'd use small rivets rather then glue to put it together, because if you ever need to take them apart again, all you have to do is drill the rivets whereas if you use glue then you risk breaking the plastic when you come to pull them apart.
