i just went and picked up a set of 5 205 gti alloys with four brand new tyres on them for 120 quid bargin! ive put them on with the standard wheel bolts and they seem fine, i went for a drive and checked them wen i got back and they were still all good.
but do u reckon i will need other wheel bolts or will the standard ones be alright??

You shouldnt run tapered bolts on wheels designed for flat faced bolts

ok cool cool i didnt even realise they were different lol
whats the difference does it just make the wheel bolts sit better or somthing?

its a different fitment in the wheel
with tapers in a flat setup (like you did) you have a very tiny amount of contact between the bolt and the wheel
it means they can work loose very easliy and thats a bad thing
get flat bolts mate
