Ok so ive been to this persons house 100 times to sort out their wireless connection. They have 2 xbox's, one wired, onew wirelsss downstairs, 1 desktop pc (wired) and 1 laptop (wireless)

I have tried the following

WEP and WPA codes
Static IP addresses for all devices
Renaming the SSID and running it on channel 11 and auto
Auto settings

All works for about a week then when one signs into xbox live, it kicks the other off!! They are doing my head in, its a belkin router and ive tried all i know.

Any further suggestions?

u could try using static and putting one of the xboxs on a different subnet

I found this was a router issue.

Have 2 on with no trouble on Netgear, had issues on my Linksys (hacked DD-WRT firmware)

it may possibly be the braodband operater as well as the router.

Who are they with?
