lol well again tonight i have been pulled over! and this time it wasnt the tints cus i took em off!
no this time apparently it was my number plates he said the letters were to small but get this- he didnt no how big they were meant to be!
Last week when the traffic copper pulled me over for the tints he didnt say anything about the plates!

so i gotta take em to a MOT garage to prove they are legal.
also i had my interia neon lights on and he had to ask me if they were legal!
i said yep cus they dont distract other drivers and cant beseen outside the car. he said orite ok then!!
he didnt ave a clue!
wanker! smileys/smiley7.gif
im gettin fed-up of bein pulled at least twice a week for nothin and everytime got to take my insurance and MOT documents to the local police station!

Anyone else get this problem or is it just me???

What do you number plates look like, If there in some sort of stupid font then he has every right to pull you over as they could be illegal.

Post a pic of your plates please.

simple answer - take anything that can or will incriminate you off or out of your car

your giving them a reason to pull you over by having things like: full tints (which are illegal), neons, number plates with a small font (which are MOT fail), bald tyres, loud music etc etc

Was it you who started the other thread not so long ago?

They are only doing their job. Do you think they really want to fill out all the paperwork for cars driving around with illegal tints, number plates, etc...? They don't like it just as much as you do. But remember, one police officer talking to you about your car is one less police officer on the streets trying to maintain the peace.

Well said mate!

We need more police officers catching real criminals, rather than using theyre time and inclination to sort out stupid road users who should know better.

very true!we need police on the streets not seeing if someone has decided to deliberatly changed the font of their plates to something that is not road legal. can you post a pic of the plates you have on?anything that is not of the standard font or size is not road legal and as dan has said they have every right to pull you over.
