Ive got to go and try to stop my suspension kncoking and front brakes binding... but its cold smileys/sad.gif

Im hoping the suspension knock is the wishbone bolts, as if its more than that, I dont think I can be bothered fixing it. smileys/smiley17.gif

And if the knoicking stops, maybe I will put up with the brakes burning up every now and again.

I really can't be bothered, but need to stop this knocking before tomorrows meet smileys/smiley2.gif

Anyone else hate fixing cars when its cold??

Wish me luck smileys/smiley24.gif

Most definately boss man.

I could wash and wax the car today too, or i could stay inside, and actually do nothing.

Crappy weather just makes you feel so... well... crap!!! Haha! You get up thinking right... ill do this and that today. But you end up staying in chilling and watching a bit of TV.

That is why I am chilling today and sorting the car out tomorrow (weather permitting).

I just got my car back this morning - suspension knocking and rattling turned out to be the anti-roll bar droplinks smileys/smiley11.gif

Made my mate do it yesterday while it was pissing down and blowing a gale smileys/smiley4.gif

Success with the car!!! It doesnt knock anymore!

Just the clutch is too severe and it jumps out of gear if you floor it in first now... but they can be dealt with another time smileys/smiley2.gif

my dads pug did this and eventualy it wouldnt go in gear atall, the gear box went, does your gear stick shake really bad when accelorating? or between certain speeds?

I was thinking that too Scott, but cant rememebr properly. Im sure I posted somewhere though, so will check after smileys/smiley17.gif

The knocking turne dout to be the BIG GOLD nut which clamps the billie shocker tight onto the hub assembly. I knew they'd be a problem one day smileys/smiley17.gif

did you swap the bottom of the struts to the new ones while you were at it?

I remember it jumping out of gear in 1st and second i think? Also the twisted inner cv joint, dont want to take another AP out with itsmileys/smiley17.gif

Not fitted new bottom ends Scott... will do that when the brakes are sorted.

Tightened the nut whilst in situ smileys/smiley17.gif smileys/smiley16.gif

Gear problem is probably loose gearbox mount or knackered linkage??

The sliping crown wheel gave loads of grinding noises, which isnt happening at the moment smileys/smiley17.gif
