hey has anyone done this themselves?? how short did you go?? is it harder to put it into gear after you have to it?? did you turn a new thread on the shortened shaft?? any problems??

Im guessing it will take more force to move it. Less leverage

not the best way to do it tbh

you wont be able to refit the standard gearknob if you do

i guessed that becuase i cant even pull it off so i am guessin butcherin is the only way off... not arsed about the standard gear knob

i ain tasking for a quick shift i am asking for the gear leaver shortened where the gear knob is

and you have been told its not the best way and i told you how to find the proper way to do it

it makes it a lot harder to put in gear mate
and it gives the effect of a quickshift (but they arent hard to get in gear)

you have to force it harder and can cause damage to the box missing gears
