View Full Version : Important! : How do you disconnect the immobiliser on a 1997 citreon saxo?

i have a citroen saxo vts, and the last few weeks the immobiliser is playing up(its not the keypad one as also have tht and it works fine). sometimes it work fine other times i can be sittin for 10-20 mins tryin to get me car started which is pain in the arse:wall:. i don't have thae cash 2 take it in the garage, i have been told 2 disconnecting the immobiliser may stop fuel from flowing, so can it be taken out?? any help would be great

i have unplugged mine before, also not a key pad one, theres a small black box up behind your glove box, with a few wires going into it, 1x2 inchies in shape, mine worked fine with out it.

did you simply unplug it and thats it no re wiring or bypassing of any kind?

unplug it whilst the engines running, done!
