hi people i have a t plate saxo recently been having problems with the heaters windows and rear demister the fuse in the fuse box is totally melting it melts what ever fuse i put in there does any 1 have any idea because it puzzled me and this welsh wether aint helping lol real coooooold cheers peps :afro::afro::afro:

You`ve got a dead short in either the wiring or one of the affected components. Try disconnecting them all and plugging back in one at a time - I`ve got a similar fault that I`m gonna look at this morning so I`ll let you know what I find.

hi im not very good at electrics so what you mean unplugging thm from were?? the fuse box is it and thanx for answering to this post dont think any 1 else isintrested lol :y::y:

have a look at this link, have you got power steering is it working ok, this fix normaly works when you are having trouble with heaters, power steering and rear de mister. But it has worked for a few people who don't have the power steering but are getting problems with the other 2

hi i have no problem with the power steering and heaters demister and windows all work the problem is that when i got a fuse in for them and use any of them it melts the plastic bits on the fues tryd 20a 25a and 30a and they all get melted now the problems got bigger and is melting my fuse box silly isnt it any 1 got any ideas or had the same problem let me now how u sorted it gets cold with no heaters and hard to see wen driving and hard to use ashtrey when smoking lol cheers guys :y::y:

Sorry I`ve not come back earlier - only get a chance to play at weekends - In the passenger footwell there is a green relay- just above where your left foot would be- Try pulling the relay out - that`ll help narrow down where the fault is. If the fault is still there - plug it back in, then remove the plug off the back of the heater switch. Let me know how you get on.
