hi all,
i am looking to fit buckets but i need help. when you disconnect the airbag wiring thing under the standard seat this will turn off the airbags. Both sides with it bein a vts. Is there anyway of making the airbags work. will they work in a crash with buckets in etc.
also - if you reconnect the wiring when you put standard seats back in do the airbags work again and the light go off? thanks

put the pretensioners on the subframes hidden away so that they are plugged in
or put a resistor across the plug (theres a guide on doing the steering wheel with the correct type of resistor)

when i changed my seats i just pulled the plug out, didnt bother disconnecting the battery, probably should have to be safe but I didnt get an airbag to the back of the head either :P

tbh if your going all out strippage remove the whle airbag system
its what i do
no lights in the dash
no silly oranger wires you need to hide
and less weight
if you wanna go back to standard just put it all in
plus before you ask about the steeringwheel bag if your in harnesses your not gunna hit the wheel so its not needed (so you can get a lighter wheel aswell
