Have been looking at these jobbies:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2x-Blue-15-LED-30cm-Under-Car-Bike-Flexible-Strip-Light_W0QQitemZ250365584622QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_C arsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item25036558462 2&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683|66%3A4|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A13 18

Considering cutting the roof lining and fitting these underneath, then wiring to the interior roof light so they come on when switched on/door open.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Oh, and what bulbs do I need to replace the standard roof light?

Guide on fitting a new one anywhere?

Bit tacky imo, if you're going to do it get them in white :y:

just bought these new sidelights, and have been told they will work in the main interior light as well. and they come as a pair so you can use the other one for the boot! and although they say bright white they have got quite blue tinge to them

and apparently you can just lever the main light off with a screwdriver
