As the title says my temp guage is not working.
So far ive:
Changed the sensor (by the thermostat)
Had new dials
When the car is cold i.e standing all night when i start up the temp needle sits on the halfway mark and as the engine warms up it falls down until it sits at the bottom of the guage
Also the fan kicks in so im not sure what is wrong or where.
Has anyone else had a problem like this? Any help greatfull
Cheers

by the sounds of what you said you have the wrong sensor fitted, there are two types of sensor NTC or PTC they do the same job but act in different ways to the changes in heat. i.e NTC (negative temp Coefficient) so as the temp rises the resistance in the sensor gets smaller and the opposite happens with the PTC sensor. that could be the problem mate

Yes they should sell them if you still need one.
