I will of been drivng fine with no problems for he first 5-10 minutes,,,,,,,,,then when i am sitting at a junction and decide to drive, put it in 1st gear and accelerate the engine will cut out at about 2000 revs (and i look like a bellend coz its stalled).
The only way it wont cut out is if i floor it in first or change gear before i hit the 2000 rev mark.
Anyone got any ideas what may be wrong?
Cheers

This happened to my VTR for one day and then stopped I dunno why it happened.
Could be something fuel related take your rear bench out and listen to your fuel pump maybe?

check your idle control valve, i know someone this happened to and wee linkned it up to a computer and it came out with fault codes on the idle control valve so wee replaced it and this fixed the problem, get someone with a diagnostics machine to check it out

think it could be something to do with the icv actually. When i start the car (have to push the accelerator down to get it started) it idles at just over 500 revs and really dosent sound healthy. Do u think it could all be traced back to and linked with the icv?
