OK, have lost my job due to redundancies but kinda knew it was coming so had £200 set aside for car mods.
How it is atm:

How can I best improve it for £200?
Got a spoiler already bought that needs to be fitted.

Erm.. save the cash til you find a job. Its the most sensible option.
What if something breaks tomorrow nad you just paid for new lights?
Remember, if you are adding mods, they need declaring. More money.

Should really save it but:
Vt kit would be the best mod you could do but unless you want to drill holes in your car your going to have to get a body shop to do it so it will be more than 200 quid
Soooooo...
VTR wheels, smoked rears lights, black badges, smoke your head lights.
Perhaps slowly buy and fit the vt kit theres a guide about somewhere

sensible option, but its going to be to tempting not to do this car for two years!

Yeah, I would save your money mate...
Dont want to be stranded up the M1 and have no money to get back...
plus its small engine, I always said I wouldnt make any big changes to cars unless I had a 2.0 possibley a 1.6 even now on the vtr I have only tinted the windows and stuck a couple of dvds players and 2 12inch subs in there...
When I see these corsa's, clios, and 1.1i saxos driving about with big bore exhausts etc I just think, WHY! lol.
if you are determinded to do something, lower it... pick cheap lowering springs up on the net...
Remove the citreon mudflaps and possibley put some black ones on... the citreon looks bad...
Bee sting arial (£5 max)
Can of black spray paint and smoke the back lights a little, nothing to much so it looks stupid (£8)

yea, I lost my job a while back and only recently got a new job, gives you something to work for.
But when you do get a job, de-wiper, window tints, sand rear badges or t cut, smoked headlights or angel eyes and maybe a vt bodykit?

new alloys, tint windows, de-wiper, smoke lights, de-badge.
save up for a descent lowering kit, those £50 kits will bring you nothing but problems

i think hes just talking about buying a set of springs for the front for about £50 which is all you need really and standard shocks up to a certain amount, say 40mm.
shouldnt encounter problems with that
