heater lights?

just realised after 4 months of owning my car that the heater lights dont work.... and neither does my boot light... what should i be checking? ive changed the ulb in the boot but its still not working?

I believe you have to turn on car lights and move the heater switches across from side to side to 'Activate them' (well in mine you do)

As for the boot, you sure its connected it right? Sure the bulbs not busted?

Cheked the bulb holder is fine and gripping tightly to the bulb?

Can't help with the bulbs expect check the fuses under the hood and under the glove box.

heater lights should be on when all the time that your lights are on,
take the pin switch out in the boot and clean the turminal

no the heater lights dont work... it was only today when reading someones thread that i realised they should actually work!!!

all the other lights work though so im thinking it could be a blown bulb... but i dont know where to look for the bulb?

and yeah will do that with the boot thanks

to get the heater light bulb out you have to remove the centre console which is a bit annoying but i think thats the only way of getting to it. because when i sprayed my centre console the other day, i put it back and the heater light wasnt working! lol so im going to have to take it all out again!

edit: and yeah its only this tiny little led i think you can get them from halfords

Could be a fuse but if it was then im not sure the sidelights would work tbh

get a multimeter on the wires to see if theres a reading

yeah i was a bit worried about doing mine but it turned out alright in the end. just try and find a pic of someone thats done it in mango already, or get a photoshop! i rekon it would look pretty good tbh!

what, the bulb in the boot? its the same as the sidelight bulbs. not sure exactly what they are called someone will know! you can get loads of different coloured ones as well i just got some bright white quad led's and put one in the main light in the car and in the boot, looks better than the standard yellow ones!

and yeah ive got a coulour changing on inside my car but its crap!!!! cant see anything lol

o right lol again dont no what it is called but its just this tiny led that apparently you can get from halfords. if someone else would like to shed some light (no pun intended) on what they are called it would be good because i need one as well!
