140mph!!

Hi all,
Just bought a Ashley comp exhaust system and am very excited!!
Also I managed to reach a wopping 140MPH last night while racing a trpe R!!!

it was on a duel carrage way and the steering did go vety light after it got passed the juddering of 60mph. the importand thing is i got a video on my phone of the feate! lol
(also got pulled last night doin 90 in a 30! got off scotch free)
no matter how much i get the wheels balanced it still does it a bit.

well when they are in a astra and it took them at least 4 mins to catch me up they didnt have a leg to stand on.
his words where "your a bit heavy on the right foot and if i where a traffic cop you would have 6 points and a hefty fine but im not so just be carefull"

theres no way you'd get let off doing that kinda speed in a 30mph zone !!

my mum got done for speeding on a motorway (temp 50mph zone & was doing 74mph). the letter said that if you're doing 75mph in a 50 then you could lose your license depending on a court appearance. i think the same kind of margin applies to all speed limits

you would defo lose you licence for that , as for going 140 , what you had done to your saxo (standard VTS would get nowhere near 140)

it has a de-cat system and a BMC carbon air box.
I couldnt believe it either so im pleased i got it on my phone.

you can get vts's up to that speed - i know someone on here who has been very close to that speed

TBH I think you are talking crap about getting let off for doing 90 in a 30. That would not only be classed as speeding but dangerous driving surely. Anyone who does that sort of speed in a 30 zone should not be allowed on the roads anyway. And to come on here and talk about it as if its some sort of achievement, well I hope you weren't expecting a positive respone.

I agree , theres a time and a place for driving at that speed (a dual carridgeway is not one of them).
