was out and obout on saterday wen the car started to whyne, wen i accelaret the noise goes wen i put the clutch in or take my foot of the accelarator it gets louder :n:
what could b the cause input shaft bearing??
it jst got a gearbox put in less 2 weeks ago today 2nd hand with low miles (47k)

You may have bought a fresh box, but doesnt mean it's been refurbed ever in it's life.
My gearbox needed refurbing at 46,000 miles so its about right.
They literally put fresh bearings, new clutch at the same time.
Cost me £325 including parts and labour.

when u put the clutch your disengaging the gears so it could be the that your clutch bearing worn

yea but it makes that noise if i hold the speed at a steady pace or slow down it goin to the garage on thursday will hopefully find out then

jst been out with the torch turned my wheel to the right and looked behind the passengers wheel
my rubber boots off n grece everywhere :(
could this be making the noise?????
