At the end of the month i was going to buy the number plate - D8 NDL
but i was going to move the space over one to read - D8N DL - showing my name, "Dan" and my other innitals (daniel david lewis)
but after readin a few pages on the internet ive read that they tend to be pretty strict with this?
but tbh i think D8 NDL looks crap and it doesnt really read the same?
do you think i could get away with D8N DL, or even D8NDL with no spaces at all, that way i could position the number plate bolt to read D8N.DL
im not sure what to do now, because all the ** DAN 's have been sold, and i dont really want just my initials, DDL.
if that ^ is a definate no no, i have been looking at J17 DDL (my bday, june 17th, and my initals) this is half the price of the first one but doesnt appeal to me as much?

Yeah basically if you move the space the number plate becomes illegal, so you face getting pulled and fined, not really worth the hassle.

Some going around here with BU8BY all in the middle.
They've been going around for a while now and police presence is quite high round here.

Any illegally spaced plates should see you with a fine, although I have M8X DJ on the front of mine and correcly spaced M8 XDJ on the back.
If cops are following you they will see the rear plate, if they pass you and see the font plate the chances of them turning around are fairly slim.
Don't totally take the piss and you should be alright

My GF buying K33 FEH for me soon, but going to space it K33F EH when i get it.
There are loads of people round my way with Numberplates with the spacing changed, and i live near a police station and they never seem to care much... haha

just get a set with it spaced correctly too and carry them around, if you get a fussy copper say you were unsure of the legallity (sp) of it so had another set and offer to change them there and then and apologize?

Cops dont like miss spacing so tbh it isn't worth it... the dramas u have to go threw it isnt just a fine u have to change ur plates they make u produce it at a police station to prove u have done it... unless u get a nice copper might just give u a warning saying change it...if i see the car again like it then they will do what every they want lol :y:

MOT Fail as well remember
Also an MOT failure if you have a new style plate that doesn't have the company name and postcode of the makers on it! What a sad country we now live in!
