this is a crazy idea but would it be good if a saxo could be made into a rear wheel drive? if any of you out there know what would need to be done, please inform me, as i have a cousin which money is no object with a vts and would love to have the worlds first rear wheel drive saxo?

if money is no object then why doesn't he just buy a faster car smileys/smiley5.gif
'easiest' option would be to cut a hole in the boot, remove the whole rear suspension, then 'drop' in basically the front end of saxo eg inner front wings, suspension, engine (obviously) and brakes. take a look at the rear rs turbo engined pug 106, as that's what they did.

well that would be pretty easy for him then, putin front of saxo at rear! i'll tell him about it, n hopefully one day i'll witness a rear wheel drive saxo.
n the reason he wants a saxo rear wheel drive is he likes to be unqique, and loves suprising people with the stuff he does on cars.

its been done before with a R1 engine. there was a video of it on here a while ago. smileys/smiley2.gif
why not strip it out, keep the motor in the front and put another in the rear, i seen loads of cars with it done when i used to race in the autocross, mostly astras and novas with 2x1.4 engines. was a rapid one that had 2x2L 16v motors in it smileys/smiley2.gif
