My ECU on my vts is faulty (got error code p0606) so i need another one, can i just get one from another mk2 vts and swap them over? or does the new one need unlocking?

as long as it same plug

carnt remember on locking.
i remember something about u have to unplug in a right way

lol, only just started showing that code, so deffo need to get it sorted, il pop down to the breakers, but need to know if the new one will need unlocking
