right my back tyres are rubbing quite a bit, i added 15mm spacers to bring them out a bit to stop the inner rubbing but now i have the problem of them rubbing on the outer wheel arch.
what should i do?
a: smaller spacers. 7mm?
b: lift the car a little because it looks quite low.
c: deal with it.
ive got quite a heavy false floor but tbf if i took that out id still have the problem if i had some passengers in the back.
in this pic you can see the rubber bats rubbed off!!

I dont understand... thats mud.
Are you sure its rubbing?? Get someone to sit in the back and have a look. Im guessing you think its only rubbing at the back not the front?
Mine sits much closer to the bumper than that but never rubs.

yeah sorry my fault its mud, i had another look and i think its rubbing somewhere on the inside, both side's aswell when im cornering and if the road is bumpy. i dont quite get it i mean i got 15mm spacers so it shouldent rub but if i put my hand round there it dose feel quite close :S
what should i do?? anything short of buying bigger spacers im stuck.

The axles are offset on a saxo. Normally it will be closer to the trailign arm on the passengerside than on the drivers and the drivers wheel will rub on the outer side.
If you put your hand up in the arch behind where the black strip goes you will feel a metal lip. this needs to be rolled up to reduce the rubbing. Probably worth reducing the size of the spacer. The Wheel will be very very close to the trailing arm but it will be fine like that.
Hope this helps

dang finding smaller spacers other than 3mm ones which i have is going to be a mission might just get the lip rolled back.

Yeah you will need the arches rolled, and providing the offset of the wheels for the car is correct you shouldn't need spacers at all tbh, Well my wheels didnt on my old car.

yeah, still need the 15mm spacers i got on there because the wheels wont fit at all without them lol the 3mm spacers make no diff either sadly, how did you get your arches rolled back? sometimes i hear the rubbing/scraping on the passenger side aswell but mostly the driver side.

I got a friend who works in a garage to do it for me. Its only a cheap thing to get done. I was quoted £50 from a place that is notoriously expensive around my way. Just got to heat up the panel and bent it without the paint cracking and peeling.
What wheels are they?
