door wont open from outside!!

hi

im new to the forum so hello!!


anyway i have a 97 vts (first saxo)

it has been fine apart from the top hose going a the fact there is no were to get t hese from!!

anyway after making one out of bits of copper all is good.

now last nite i unlocked the door went to get in and it wouldnt open! so my mate had to open it from the inside.

so the inside handle works, the passenger door works fine but i cant open the drivers door from the out side!

any ideas tips to fix the proplem??

the pull rod from the handle has come off, take of the door panel and reconect it
