there are a lot of cheap japanese bikes out there tbh
most wont last long if you start jumping them, the gearbox, sus and frames are weak.
Anything below £300 isnt gonna be superstrong, just cheap and cheerful.
Stomps are very good, but as with most things, you get what you pay for.
I have a superstomp 150, takes everything i throw at it and is race spec :) did cost almost £700 though lol

I did think that most of them will be cheap and cheerful for around the £300 mark. What one would you go for if you only had £300 max to spend?

all i can say is stay away from replicas ive had 3 of them and all have been problem after problem. i would go for a 65cc kawasaki i know a few people who have had them and they take anythink you throw at them and they wer faster than the 125cc i had at the time... you should find some within your budget as there quite a old bike now

to be perfectly honest i race motocross at semi pro level so heres some advise on pit bikes stay away they just break all the time the Japanese imports are pile of wank and tumpstar and x-port just fall apart. but if ya gonna get one get a crf 50 and just by as much bbr stuff for it as possible should stay together then lol

Ive ridden a few and wouldent reccomend the cheap versions, we was riding on a quarry on my mates 150 pit bike and the rear shocker decided it no longer wanted to be attached to the swing arm, there dangerous and made out of chocolate.

Im looking to get one of these, i only want mine to rag across the fields at work to the workshop. Its about half a mile across the fields and about 2 miles down the roads, its costing me a fair bit extra in fuel so thinking it could be cheaper in the long run getting a pit bike and more fun aswell. Ive heard good things about the thump elite with the upside down forks looks pretty mint to.
