was sticking to keeping standar suspension, but the more i look the more i think it needs lowering.
whats everyones opinion on it without it looking tacky?

40mm?

40mm looks good. Wouldn't go much lower as it can mess up the handling

would 40mm be ok without fucking up the standard shocks?

should be ok but I would renew shocks aswell so the handling is as good as can be & you do both in 1 job instead of 2 :y:

50mm all around practical height that looks tasteful.

Personally would never lower on standard shocks.

Ive dont it before, its alright,
uprated shocks do make a fair bit of difference though!

They make a massive difference I think.

B8's etc vs Standard shocks LOL ...

im not a fan of lowering.looks and handles fine as std. imo.
im now on b8s but only down 25mm.
it now handles very very well.
depends if you spend more time looking at it than driving it ? how many speed bumps in an average day ?

if your after an ok kit, cheep and not using standard dampers. Go with a spax 40mm kit.

See how you like it and if you want to go lower then you can allways change the springs.

Apex are better than Spax for basic kits
