Boot light switch

Hi everybody
Im just wondering if anyone knows where the boot light switch is, as my boot light isnt working (probs bulb) im going to replace it with 2 neons, but i dont know where the switch is located. Any help is much appreciated.

its not really a switch its just a long button that sticks out so when boot is closed it turns off. Just pop the bulb out and change it

Well i wanted to know where it is so i can wire neons into it.

just wire it up to the wires behind the bulb holder

Its near the light, but where the boot shuts down on the parcel shelf support.

why would you wire neons onto the switch? wire them onto the the bulb holder wiring so they turn on when you open the boot..

Yea the plan is so that when i open the boot i was just going to find the switch and follow the wiring so that i can wire it up so they turn on when i open the boot, proberly is easier starting the standard light.

The Switch/Peg/Plastic rod thingy
for the boot light is located
on the trim next to the
left hand tail light!
well at least it is in my Mk2 VTR.
