People with GMC/BTB manifolds

I decided to fit my manifold today but came across a stumbling block on the way. the problem is that when fitting the manifold it hits against the alternator. I think I might be able to get around it by either taking the alternator off or sawing off the gearbox mount but this seems ott. Has anybody else had this prob?

I had no such problem with mine. Didnt even have to take anything off

my alternator's intact, and my gearbox mount is there too....

don't remove your alternator - how is your car going to charge its battery !?
