Hi,
Been a while since ive been on here..... so HELLO! again lol
Need your opinions on something....
I've recently just done my first ever stand up gig.... very exciting lol a little scary too if im honest.
Anyway, a friend of mine recorded it and I've put it up on youtube.
I'd really like some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism please. Although i think it went quite well (considering it was my first time), after watching it back a few times i know there are improvements to be made.
I'd like to know which jokes worked for you, if any, and also any other performing tips. For example, i already realise i need to cut down on the word "terrible", i seem to use that as a filler for some reason subconsciencely lol
I should warn you now, that the subject matter is extreamly "taboo" and if you are offended easily, please dont watch. Please watch with an open mind and bear in mind that im not offending anyone in particular, just trying to make light hearted comedy out of quite serious subjects. The lighter side of some things.....
Thanks again for your time, and i look forward to your feedback.....

I think you are witty and not afraid to joke about stuff that most people couldn't! I think you have to have a dark sense of humour for this kind of stuff, and not be easily offended! But i must say for someone who is an amateur and the material is your own, i think it's fucking great and god damn funny! Keep it up, i will be subscribing to this one!!
Good luck for further gigs!

No problem mate, the material you use is stuff which i find funny! I think the way you present yourself and act it aswell is good, you don't just stand there! :y:

cack = bad.
im not being nasty, i thought the routine as a whole, was funny.

lol.... the cum drenched biscuit ;-)
Thanks again for your feedback..... perhaps i could rework the last joke, or not use it. I know what you mean, its a little close to the line lol..... but i do have a point though... down syndrome people don't need to park close to the buildings lol they can still walk. both of the last jokes actually happened lol there not made up....
Thanks again all, a nice confidence booster there!

thats not the reason i didnt like it, it was just that you had already picked on the disabled community earlier on....

I thought you was good.I didnt think that your jokes were all that great but as for a first gig it was good.
You seem like you are a funny bloke and can tell a joke well, which not alot of people can.
I enjoyed it.

Down syndrome joke was a tad harsh mate. They can still walk yes but their mental age isn't the same as their actual age.
Some funny parts though

I think no joke can be to harsh/cruel if it is meant in a joking manner! There is a difference in being malicious with it to using it in a joking context.

Not bad tbh.
I love harsh jokes..... because they are JOKES.
You can see your nervous but its just practise and time that eases that. Only other criticism i have is your clothes. Make an effort man, wear a suit!
