Whats the lowest you can get 60mm? I know you can decide how much you lower it with coilovers but dont have the money.

I have been told I can go 80mm with the torsion bar adjusted but I would like to go 80mm on the front aswell if there is 80mm springs. I currently have 14s and really deep sideskirts so would be sooo LOW!!!!

80 is really low any way. I am 60mm and I think that is perfect, Looks really low on 14"s but not impracicle as speed bumps are no concern. You will have problems on 80mm

It depends the reasoning behind lowering. Is it for performance, looks or both?

At the end of the day, your wallet is your limit.

If you are only lowering for performance, then I would suggest you go down 35/40mm. This also looks ok, but not with 14's (in my opinion). 15's may just pull it off but 16's are preferred.

I as well as Grant are down 60mm on a Spax PSX Suspension Kit. I think if you are planning to go down any more than 50mm, then you should seriously look into purchasing a kit rather than just front springs. You can buy a set of (50mm) lowering springs for around £50 and you should also replace the standard shocks. These would only set you back around £30-£40. That is already just udner £100. There are many suspension kits out there and for £100 more, you could have one.
