have anyone used blue tak instead of clay on their car

I bought clay from Bilthamber only costs about £12 for a fair size bar enough for about 4 goes at claying a medium size car.

Dont use blu tak mate just shell out for a proper clay system, tbh blu tak wont be tacky enough to remove contaminents and tbh it may do more damage than good

i read about it on cyc forum one of them swears by it he said to lubricate with a weak polish to stop it marring

tbh, i cant see it doing a lot of damage. although i dont think it would really have anywhere near the same result as a claybar. i wouldn't use polish as lube, just use a weak shampoo solution in a spray bottle.

would be interesting to hear your results if you give it ago
