These kind of stories annoy me as they should never happen. They don't make things illegal without a reason, "Oh its alright if I use my mobile whilst driving...nothing will happen and I'm an exception to the law." I've seen alot of 'bad' driving lately and 99% of the time the driver is on their phone!! Sorry, rant over.

Someone I know got 3 points and £60 for that. BUT...they had their foot on brake pedal, so it was deemed as they were controlling the car at same time as being on phone. Bit harsh if you ask me
