Ok, dads just got a focus as a hired car as his piccaso in the body repair (cba to explain), and they are amazing to drive, i no its obvious as i drive a saxo but the comfort is class, it has a amazing pull throuh gears etc. Never been a fan of focus since today, this focus seemes very nippy but i bet the ST Focus is fast, now i wish i had money to get one
Same as this one but different wheels.

been in the older 1.8tdci focus 5 door, quite torquey but naff brakes a substantial amount of body roll in the corners... and slower to 60 than a 1.1... otherwise a good car :y:

My mum and dad bought the mk 2 when they came out,
they HATE it, they had the mk1 and dad said he thought it was a much better car. Ive driven it alot and its alright. Nicer to drive than a golf and an astra but not a patch on the megane imo.

Bike brakes feel better than standard 1.1 brakes John ;)
But I was on about the mk1 though bud. Swear the pads need renewing quite often as well.. mates renewed his twice in the last 12months and he only does 100miles a week.

If you got excited over that you would fall over and die if you ever drove anything VAG.

The normal focus's are quite nippy and highly comfortable especially if you go for the Titanium 15k starting price for a focus though lol
The ST is very comfortable especially if you go for the heated leather recaros :D & as std the STs are quick but mapped and modded they are seriously quick lol
The Focus D's can be mapped to run very quick quite like the Astra's desiels can be made almost as quick as a std ST lol

i had my driving lessons in the same car. nice car's i like them more now than i did then. i ushially find with bigger car's your observations are hard to do as they have three foot wide pillers and feel like your in a giant bubble lol
but to be faire the focuss didn't feel like that very easy to see around your car when you in it. id defo have one ;)

my dad just sold his focus full st replica with heated leather recaros (costed a fortune) that was the 1.6 90bhp tdci remaped was quite quick even with the 18inch st wheels on but he had mk1 face lift 1.8 tdci sport was by far the better car all round iv drove both and mk1 (plus had one off my own) better to drive by far and focus's are good hadling cars jermy clarkson loves them
