ive had car a few months and ive never heard the fan kick in, about where does the gauage have to be before it starts working? ive had it just over half and no fan hasnt been much higher on the gauge? is it meant to work after half? smileys/smiley5.gif

Its hard to say, if your stuck in a traffic jam and the engine starts to get hot while stationary for a while then it will come on. Mine comes on when the cars been used but then turned off but not all the time.

mine comes on when its approaching 3/4. as long as the needle doesnt go into the red then your ok.

i dont think mine has ever been at 3/4 while driving, thats prob why ive never seen it on smileys/smiley9.gif
