Now - I been having this argument with my mate, which would be quicker - a 110bhp VTR - Stripped out and standard wheels OR a 150bhp Pug 306 HDI (2.0ltr TD) with 17's
I reckon the VTR would still be just as quick. cos of power to weight.

how do you manage to get 150bhp from a 306 hdi they are 90bhp according to every source i can find....?

well some lad i no has a 206 hdi 2ltr and mine leaves it every time, i think the vtr would win every time as its lighter and 0-60 would kil it

not had much competition from one before - i did have a kiddi on swsc tell me because it had a turbo it meant it was real fast smileys/smiley5.gif
but i agree i didnt think they had anymore power than a vtr!

LOL - There is a 221bhp 306 HDI its the 2litre Turbo Diesel. You can mod em! lol
umm complete guess on the VTR mate its what I been told, it aint been roaded, its got full system, de-cat, enclosed induction. so its prob more like 100bhp rather than 110 but its just what I been told.

EDIT - Above what I ment is, there is a modded 306 hdi @ 221bhp apparently! lol
