can some please!!!!! tell me how i can get my remote working again. the battery went flat so i changed the battery but the code has been lost so need it re-coding i'm assuming so how do i do this? idealy without having to hand money over to the cit dealer i will be very thankful for any help i get im just sick of using the key int he lock! btw its the standard cit remote locking cheers

not too sure as i have aftermarket alarm but try holding the button down for a few secs, see if the car gives a signal to say its coded...
dont really kno tbh just guessing, probs not cos then any1 could disarm your car

1. Unlock the vehicle using the Key.
2. Press the LOCK button 2 times within 20 seconds of unlocking the vehicle

i tried this twice yesterday with no luck i will try again today, do you press it twice like realy quick or do you press it pause a sec then press it? or does this make no dif? cheers guys

make sure the conection is ok inside and battreys round the right way, it mite save a trip to shitron

mine was fuking up to so i took it to a local citreon specialist they sorted it all out for just 35 quid turns out wasnt the remote that was fuekd it was the cliford alarm itself

cheers 666 took it apart last nyt then tried it this morning when i got up and it worked, it was cos the contacts inside had bent down too much so when you pressed the button the connection wasnt being made made cheers for the info!
