as above whats your usual method of get nut out if the lock nut key is lost?

Flat blade and a hammer.

Position the blade in the grove off the locking nut and try and move it by twating the end.

If there is enough space you can try and cut a line across it and use a big flat head screw driver.

Think about what your doing first, mash it up and your fucked.

I dont care about the alloy lol The kick nut is in quite deep had a go this morning felt like the short 18mm just gripped but not enough.

I'll check for groves in it later but space is tight as per usual

i had one removed by a garage the other day, they smashed a slightly smaller socket onto it and guned it off with air gun thing! took about 3 mins total so they didnt even charge me

i had been to other garages before and they all gave me the run around and bull sh*t excuses about not being able to do it

if you find a sound a lad in the garage he'll sort it

alternatively as above ive heard the laser locking wheel nut remover from halfords works well and is £10.99. however thats £10.99 wasted if you can get it done free lol
