Picking up a silver vtr mk2 on sunday :A:
Budget it pretty tight !
Does any1 have any ideas on cheap mods to make it look a bit better ?

but seeing as you said make it "look" better.
id suggest t cutting your badges so theyre black, maybe sorting your grill out with some mesh.. ifyou got a bit of cash get it lowered on just springs, theyll cost you about £50 - £100...

get some primer and black paint and black the front headlights out and the fogs or colour code. Get some omp tinting spray and do the back lights aswell. Make the ariel shorter either by getting a bee sting, cutting it down or getting a 106 one.

How much are quickshifts and how easy are they 2 fit ?
i was thinking about spraying my alloys a darkish grey i got a set of vtr and vts alloys what would look better ?

depdns which quickshift u get.
from £20 to over £100.
I got the £20 Griffiths engineering one, got a good reputation, also easy to fit, though a garage will only charge like £20 to fit :y:

i personally think vtr alloys look better but seems to be the majority prefer vts wheels
personally if i had a vtr i wouldnt make it look like an vts as people who know there cars just think your an idiot
if i had a vts id put on vtr wheels and vtr badges and be a sleeper kinda.
chav in vtr races you, you smoke him, chav is then humiliated with all his mates in the car
