Just ordered my springs through topgear.co.uk.

I went into their shop the other day to get them but they dont keep them all in stock cause obviously there are too many different types. So he told me to ring him and he'll order them in from Spax.

I rang him this morning and he said they should be here by tuesday and then i'll go to their shop to collect them.

On their website they are £44.99, so i assumed if he orders them in for me and i then go to the shop to collect them i will pay £44.99...

...BUT hes charging me £15 for them to be delivered to their shop from spax!!
Surely i shouldnt have to pay the delivery from spax to their shop!? I would pay delivery if they were coming to my house, but im going to collect them, so surely it should be included.

I may be wrong, but it seemed a bit tight for me to pay the delivery to their shop.

So springs which i thought would cost me £45 have ended up costing me £60.

Rant over.

dont bother, get them elsewhere if theyre going to rip you off. thats like going to buy a lof of bread and paying an extra 50p because the shop had to pay the suppliers lol

i would walk away as a matter of principle

can probably find them same price or cheaper elsewhere anyway. my eibachs were £55 delivered off potn

Hmm, well ive ordered them now :S
and also there are no other places that sell this kinda stuff near me, so i would have to order from the net, and from the net with delivery its the same kinda price if not more expensive, i just thought i would get them cheaper by going to the shop and getting them. obviously not.

mine on potn are £53 + £15 delivery so £68 all in.

personally i don't like spax they are either rock hard so you get an extremely rough ride or they are soft as **** .

i luv billies and eibach, the thing is with billies is that they are hard but they absorb the bumps which is great. got a combo of the above on my 106, its awesome. ;)

and i have had too many spax's break/fail on me.

hmmmm, too late now lol
the other thing about spax is that ive herad they lower close to what they say...some people have said that other brands say they are 40mm but only lower 30mm whereas apparently spax lower 40mm if it says 40mm. ah well.

well if you bought them for lowering then thats probably a good choice. but i go for performance.
