Ask ferg! lol. no seriously though, id use hot soapy water, some autoglym engine cleaner, could use back to black on plastics etc, some clothes, and maybe a few small brushes (toothbrush) etc :y:. Spend a good few hours on it with some elbow grease.

I use AutoGlym Bumper Care on the plastics, like ECU cover, airbox ect. And just some soapy water for rocker cover, top of the bonnet ect..

i use a liquid degreaser i.e. gunk. apply with an old clean paint brush to really get it into the hard to get spaces. light spray with the hose to rise off. then i go over with sponge and soapy water. rinse lightly again, dry with old towel or clean cloth then spray with cockpit shine. take time and attention to detail and it works a treat.
its how i do mine anyways:

Most things have been covered but a very good All Purpose Cleaner will make a massive difference. Protecting the electricals is vital as well. Keep ontop of things and it will never get to a stage where it is flithy again.
