Talking about the 180bhp model built in around 2001.

Evo tested the car as follows:

0-60mph 7.1s
0-100mph 20.7s

(163bhp/ton).

Just seems a tad slow for a car with this spec. Surely must be on a par with a Clio Sport?

What do people think?

A very rare Ltd edition model, hard to find these days.

Wasn't all that great apparantly, once read a Top Gear grouptest against Clio, CTR etc,and they weren't very impressed by the Ibiza R. Looks nice though.

overall the cupra R if you get the right model can be made very quick.

theres a guy on another forum I know who ran a 13.1 1/4 without doing alot lol

although that model does seem flawed

Pretty sure you said it handled much better than your 106? Then again though I think you spend more on the suspension on the Cupra.

Agree though was well nice!
