Hi everyone. My front wheels catch when turning full lock, is it ok to remove the inner wing/arch to stop this? :panic: :p

It would stop it of course but apparently you get a lot of water and crap come up between the doors because theres nothing to stop it, try fixing them back properly first.

yer I wouldnt advise removing them as they're there for a reason...and all the crap will go all over where it shudnt:y:

I had 16" on and I took them off to put new wheels on and its worn the paint away in the arch down to bare metal:homme:

Not a wise idea to remove them - citroen put them there for a reason.

Make sure you sort the problem out before MOT day, otherwise it will fail (or just swap back to the standards!)

Honestly someone has done this with mine and the inner bit of the doors where the loom is, is caked in shit. i only realised it was because there was no arch there today.

If you mean the arch liners then I wouldn't. When mine was down 60mm with the VTS wheels both my arch liners ended up being ripped out. One came off on the M3 and we had to go back and retrieve it from the hard shoulder and the other came off on full lock when I was in a car park. I ended up driving around for a little while without them until I had time to put them back on. I got so much crap in my door hinges etc. My boyfriend riveted mine back in so they woukdn't come off again. I would recommend you do this if you can because if they are rubbing then they might get ripped out like mine did. Although mine is only down 30mm now and they still rub a bit on fulll lock

Mine also rubbed. i ave 16s with 205/35m tyres. I took a look and the screw out of the bottom had gone added a new one and its fine so far.
