just been offered a 3dr black 55 plate 1.1 c2, 33k FCSH £650. cat d

needs new door, lock and wing mirror and headlight

sell vtr, buy c2, burn around and enjoy cheap motoring again? (insurance group 1!!!)

when there is a lorry infront doing 50 and you cant get past because you only have a 1.1 then you will regret it!

I'd keep the R on the drive or garage tbh.. why do you want to sell the R? Insurance too much? Petrol costs?

I think the c2 1.1 gets around the same figures as the 1.0 saxo so shedloads of MPG and a slow 0-60.

it would do but depends if you want the fun factor when driving or just want a more *ahem* "sensible" car for going about town in getting shedloads of MPG. It is a good buy and if you're trying to save go for it.

How much are you paying on the R? it is a new-ish car dont forget and parts aren't quite as cheap as a vtr.. plus it doesn't crumble up in a crash so the likelihood of it being wrote off is unlikely repair job=more money etc.
Transferring your NCB over?

My insurance on my 1.1 is over a grand. :zainy:
