Amps

Hi every one need some expert advice if possable. Iv got 2x12" type R's, but ive never got round to buying an amp for them coz i havent got a clue what 2 to get, i want to try and stick with alpine if its not mega money. HELP!! smileys/smiley13.gif

well i have an audiobahn 1600 watt max 800w rms amp .......only cost me 185£ from america free shipping was very pleased and powers my 2x 12" audiobahn subs smileys/smiley17.gif

Want to try and stick with alpine mate. You dont know which model i would need do you?

I would go for a Directed amp The 2400d would sort you right out. You do have to stick with the same amp as the subs as the subs dont know what you are running them with the most important thing is the amount of power you are giving them. Go for an amp with around the same (ish) RMS power as both the subs together DONT BE TRICKED BY THE MAX POWER OUT PUT. The Directed 2400d is around 1500watts RMS. a good match i think smileys/smiley2.gif
