Well ... some people on here know, but i only passed my driving test last month and was planning on getting a 1.4 silver furio.

So on the 10th of this month I got my saxo (woop) had a proper good weekend. But oooooo no what goes and happens?

watching it go away :( ... i bought it back the other day now that the claims been sortedish, they wont take blame because they can get away with saying its my fault because im a young driver, even though they just plowed into me!!!!

so im going to see if i can get it fixed.. got quoted £2.6k something off direct line when the cars worth £2.4k and ive lost £700 excess.

but if i can get it fixed for less than £2k then i'll go for it

its not just a new door... they damaged the axel and royaly messed the A frame up

Egay, you will be able to get a wing and a door off there for pennies. Just take it to the mechanic to check if the chasis isn't bent =]

Its not as simple as putting a new door and wing on :wall: The shell of the car looks like it will be fucked where the door locks to. If thats got a bent in it will be a bit to get out. Also rear quarter looks like its got a dent on the bottom left.

Yea was going to say if they hit the side of you which by looking at the picture they did then theres no way they can say it was your fault.
You will probably need to draw a diagram thing for your insurance to show the accident and claim off there insurance mate its defiantly there fault if they hit into the side of you.

i like how the front Arch which is made from plasic.. apart from a few scraches seems fine and the wing which is metal is bent.
always seems to happen plastic VT kits are stronger then metal

I agree with paul however the rear quarter doesn't look too badly damaged; if any, take a look at the underside for any kinks in the metalwork, you say the A pillar is royally f*cked, it just looks like lower end door damage... however the chassis may be damaged underneath.

As for the door locking mechanism just find a door wack it on and see if it shuts. Saxo doors can be found for pennies. ;)

I have a new drivers door on my saxo. When it was parked i was walking back to it and i watch a van reverse out of a drive into my beloved saxo! it was painful to watch! But luckly he took all the blame and i claimed off them. Hope u due sue them m8! u should win as well!

insurance has settled it as their fault as of last week i think. I did a really detailed picture of what happened with photographs and the light sequence.

So yea... wasn't my fault :)
