Citroen parts a rip off!

I had an accident in the works van today, going down a country lane and another van was comming the other way he was over my side of the road and wasnt slowing down so i slammed on the breaks and pulled over as much as i cud without going over the bank! he came wizzing past and clipped the wing mirror- smashed it completely.

I called into Citroen on the way home to get a price for the new mirror and they wanted £380 because its heated and electric, but that still seems alittle steap to me!
I told my boss and i dont think he wants to pay that! lol
Its a Citroen relay van by the way.

Harsh, that does seem a bit steep. Surely you can claim it on the works insurance?

Citreon are jokers, they wanted £94+ vat to paint my mirror caps smileys/smiley11.gif , i think the scrappys the best bet tho mate smileys/smiley2.gif

i tried all the scrapys round here and because its a new van (54 PLATE) knowone has got one.

i think my boss has found one for £60 but its not heated or electric but who uses that anyway!

jesus christ that it a bit steep ! knew someone that needed a heated/electric/painted mirror for a fiesta and ford quoted them 200quid !

if you're not bothered about the heater or electrics go with the 60quid one

i need a lambda sensor, and i called different shops.

local shop asked around 80quid, but they dont have it now, the other one doesnt have it at all, and citroen wants around 220quid.

now, that's expensive!
