Hi all my name is Martin i own a 106 gti which i love :D
i will ost some pics up to follow i am taking the track route as i often go to trackdays throughout the year. I know i dont have a saxo but tbh im sure the info on here will help me ans meet new people as the cars arebasically the same.
currently it is stripped out about 70% with still alot of holesaw action to come when the roll cage is done.
I have a forced induction kit with a green filter inside.
Full custom made st/st decat system.
speedline 205 alloys in black
306gti6 brake setup with braided lines and mintex 1144 pads
comming in two weeks are gaz coilies and possible new mounts/bush's
Now for typical things that have broke in the almighty frenchies life
cambelt along with 14 valves :(
3 driveshafts
1 gearbox
1 craked clutch plate
2 release bearings broke
gearbox mount broke
exhaust destroyed
dodgey sunroof (now fixed)
probs loads more too lol just cant think.
Stats on car
bought in 2006 when was 18 with 24K on the clock totally standard
Now has 54K on the clock and working at the min lol
Strange thing about this car which is the only reason that has made me keep it after all the breakages is the random speed of it in comparison to other 106's and cars.
Its pulling power in straight line beats integra type r dc2 tested as my bro has one.
Also pulls away from other 106's with more mods and 172's and 182's also tested not sure why but im happy.
Will be rolling roading it soon to find out ant wait :D
