Well with the imminent arrrival of the twins in June, I needed a bigger car to lump my huge self around for the next few months and 2 babies, a double pram and the all their stuff around after that. So I'll be driving this for the next 6 months until we've raised the cash for our proper family car

It's my boyfriends pride and joy which is being taken off classic insurance and put into daily service for the next 6 months or so. I have to say I'm secretly looking forward to using everyday. I enjoy driving it and how it surprises people

I miss driving BXs, nothing rides the same on back roads, although harder spheres on 16v are a bit less subtle. They go very well too :D
My old man has had his fair share(several 16v's and several GTis) and they were always a good laugh, great seats too, like sitting on a sofa lol

Looks like a proper decent car that, bet your boyfriend is a legend judging by that motor!

Yeah such a legend he is going to get up in the middle of the night when the twins are crying so I can sleep ;)

I think there could be less than 100 16v's left in the UK now as most have been scrapped for their engine. My boyfriend has 2 of them lol
