my steering seems to have got heavier lately expecialy when sharp turning (mark 2 VTS lowered 17inch alloys) , any ideas
I know having bigger wheels reduces handling but i have had the wheels on for ages.

yeah main things power steerin fluid or tyre pressure.
mine has gone harder to steer recently but thats because i drove into a people island in the middle of the road and hit drivers side wheel, its thrown it off balance and is hard to steer and goes to the right when i break...
...hit your recently or anythin like that???

might also be the strut bearings, or faulty steering rack. i would wait until the fault develops before you start changing parts

is this a big/expensive job , it seems to rub a lot more on the arch on the left hand side when turning right (doesent seem to rub at all on the front right arch)
