Well this is a UK Turbo 2000 - Bought this 2 weeks ago

Before i start - The poofy angel eyes are coming off on Saturday in place for some crystals

JUN front lip been fitted saturday
STI6 spoiler been sprayed just now
Skirts,door handles colour coded saturday

Uprated fuel pump
Quick shift kit
Mintex extreme discs an pads - Did have ebc until they cracked last week
17" speedline chronos with "death ring" tyres
New sti interior
New age sti wheel
New age gear knob
Tinted windows

Probably missed some..

Its about 300bhp fingers crossed(im thinking positive) old read out was 286bhp before the exhaust so it nips on- Its going back to Andy Forrest end of this month to confirm this :fcuk:

Will be at crail this weekend giving it some shit down the strip. Feel free to come over an have a word

My other Impreza is sold just awaiting it to be picked up an i will be replacing that with a Supra

I do have a 3" system into a 6" backbox at an angle but its to loud... So will probably be selling it
Hopefully getting my fmic from Scoobyclinic any day aswell

The clutch is pretty hardcore so the car is not to keen on driving about town.
I have been letting the gf drive it an she has no bother with it lol

Also noticed the turbo starts to spool up at 2000rpm - The other Impreza didnt until 2500rpm
Also you can hear it sooking air up VERY loud. Over the stereo aswell lol i will make a video of it one night.

Its pissing me off aswell - Has tein 35mm springs on it but it sits higher than my other Impreza which is also lowered 35mm

Hopefully my coilovers will be here for my birthday if my lass gets her finger out an orders them - March 14th - The big 23:fcuk:

Hit problems yesterday my radiator burst - Got an alloy one fitted in its place.

yea i was doing some take offs in it the other night an its going to take a bit of getting used to

The clutch is a bit mental haha. I also tried a mental take off. dumped the clutch from 5k. What a fright the gf got....... But i dont fancy doing it again. From what i could smell the clutch didnt enjoy it

Also i meant to say i have the exact same wheels in black on my other Impreza so im thinking of swapping them over.

u got a baffled sump fitted then mate wouldnt even think about a track day till u do :oops: ask on scooby net mate track day on a normall sump not a good idea fooked bottem end very quick :panic:

I got some flat wipers an paint

Also found a split in the boost pipe. I assume this is why the car ran rough the past few days. Put a new pipe on it and its solved teh mystery of my mental boost gauge aswell.

Hopefully got myself a Hayward +Scott system for the car aswell .Just waiting on the lad to get back to me :-) 4.5" angled exit backbox - I love em

Heading to Wallace Performance next week hopefully for Russ to have a look at my Apexi ECU to make sure the car is set up correctly. Will get a dyno run aswell

Sorted out the speakers aswell. Swapped them out for some white vibe space speakers i had from my saxo lol

Epic fail as i never bought another exhaust gaset so me an my mate made one :-) Works a treat

Put some tyre dressing on her. The alloys were migning - Will give her the full treatment at the weekend tho :-)

Next up is Black gauges and sell my white autogauges, fit the decat
Getting some "Graham Goode" racing goodies aswell

Taking the engine out in the next 2 weeks to do all the belts and some other parts
Its only going to be off the road a day tho :-) Engine out the night before an back in the next day

My new gauges arrived to replace my white face Auto guages

I got the smoked faced ones - Simialr to Defis but cheaper.

ALso colour coded the rear spats - Will do the skirts this weekend

Right another update

Bought a brand new FMIC off GAz_vts on here - He also humped me on the 1/4 mile yesterday - CUNT haha - my launches are pish
Painted my rear spats
got 2 new smoked gauges
GAve the car a full detail took about 5 hours which is very long for me lol as usually take about 1 hour to do the car

This week im fitting the FMIC and buying a boost controller as i noticed yetserday my car is spiking a bit - SPoke with Wallace performance at Crail and they advised this would sort it

Another update

Yesterday me and my mate set about fitting my FMIC and also replaced the bumper panel aswell as it was corroded - we mocked it up on the old panel just incase we made mistakes lol

All sorted. my hands are agony from cutting the bumper lol

Right a little update

Fitted the boost controller and got her running 1.43bar :-) it managed to burst an FMIC pipe so awaiting my new one to be delivered

One of the rear springs snapped so my new suspension came last night so fitting it in a hour or so 35mm Apexi kit

Fitted a full H+S decat into a afterburner vortex exhaust last week
Debadged the bastard
Fitted some blue silicon hoses
Bought some brembos for her last night so she will stop good :-) will fit them next week when i get back from Zante

managed to break my dump valve aswell so bought another HKS SSQ one off my mate :-)

Electronic boost controller?

Bit of advice for the Brembos, get some braided brake lines, they make the difference tbh and get some 5.1 brake fluid bud as the standard brembos are pants, un less these are the gold ones from bug eye model.

Fuel cut must be about 1.4, so when its cold its gonna over shoot that and will be over boosting all the time!

Cam over a crest on Monday night heard a slight bang and some rattling looked in the mirror and notied something rolling on the road. Stopped and it was some of my rear spring lol

Yeah honestly the standard brembo setup is shockingly crap

What Brembos have you got are the off a 99 UK classic or something>

5.1 has a higher bolling point, will make the difference on the car tbh

This the map Andy did? You can still buy the power commender for it, Will be able to see water temp, oil temp, what boast you've been running and a few important part, how much knock the car is giving off via the knock sensor, defo worth having as you can monitor pretty much everything. Will also flash up if it thinks the engine is gonna pop.

Fuel Cut was always about 1.4 bar.

on a really cold day i hit fuel cut but i have put the boost down a tad to accomodate this.

Yeah it will defo hit fuel cut when its cold, mine was running 1.1 and soon as it was real cold it would go up to 1.4 then bang fuel cut would kick in.

If you box ever boxs, should try and get a sti one, maybe out of a version 5/6 as they have the short diffs to, would make it very quick of the mark

i was out in my uncles wrx yesterday and we mussed have passed about 10 maybe more subarus and everyone we saw they either flashed there lights or waved at us lol.

Bit mroe of an update - Turns out i have 2 burst rear shocks so replaced them with gas adjustable ones :-) now she handles oooooosome

Also some fanny clipped the quarter panel and drove off when the car was at my house but i found out who it was and they are paying :-) they are lucky its not with their face but they were sound.

Im just heading off on holiday in a few hours so when i get back i will fit my brembos

Also doing a 2.5litre bottom end conversion :-) so will hopefully have this done before the start of July :-)

See yas in a week - Also the car has settled alot lower :-)

The car is sitting a good bit lower on the new shocks n springs now :-)
Also going to look at a new set of rims today aswell
Im thinking about stripping her out and caging it as there is a cusco cage for sale local for cheap cheap :-)

The fan belt fell off anf the crank pulley is a bit twisted so going to sort that just now

The UKs are grp 17 so cheaper than WRXs mate - I know of a few places who can do good cheap insurance on Imprezas :-)

Mines got the Blitz boost control and turbo timer, HKS Boost Gauge, Fully adjustable suspension including topmounts, full stainless exhaust etc etc.

A lot nicer than me saxo lol.

That Impreza used to be in Inverness(where i stay) mate but was unmodified :-) i mind the reg of it - This was a few year ago like

Well went to Crail and was running 14 flats and that was with 2x12" subs and a huge toolbox in the boot and a passenger - Which i think is brilliant - I could of ran more boost but didnt bother lol

Im on the look out for a Impreza Type RA now :-) so will buy another Scooby and sell this one later or maybe just keep it aswell.

I ran at 1bar bang on - I usually run 1.15 to 1.2bar but just played it safe.

I reckon i could do mid 13s easily with an empty boot,boost up and mysel in the car lol :-)

i going well mate i think at 1.1 bar u would be in the 13s

mine is set to 0.75 on low and 1.1 on high so most of the time just drive around on low ;)

I just crack open the full boost when needs must.......which still is 90% of the time haha

My mate bugeye scoob was just rolling roaded at 310bhp at the wheels and we had "a few" races on a private road last night and i whoooooped it everytime - Also i raced him and let him drive my scoob and he beat me.

Fitted my turbo decat so now running a full 3" decatted system

Pops flames at gear changes.
