Just been behind a white one at the lights, had a nice difuser at the rear. But it says on the interweb it has "100ps" as its power? is this a new term for BHP?

Anyway did a search and found out it has the equivelant of 98BHP, so most probs even the 90bhp VTR saxo will still keep up easily, it looked heavy, and it will undoubtadly be choked up with emissions rubbish because fords main selling point seems to be its fuel economy and the emmisions.

ps is the german word for bhp it is slightly differant but basically the same.

aye. the vts is faster. but ford build quality if ace :y:

feels a lot heavier than a saxo. so its much less of a go kart feel, but still fun handling :)

PS is another meaurement of power, roughly equivalent to BHP but definately not the same. as said, its a German measurement.

PS is approximately 98.64% of a BHP, eg a JDM Evo pushing 280PS would be 276bhp (280 x 0.9864).

Multiply the PS figure by 0.9864 to reach the bhp total, or bhp by 1.0139 to get back to PS.

I think the new Fiesta is the perfect platform to bring out a new fiesta RS. 220bhp or something. Would be awesome :)

ive had 2 zetec s's but mk 5 and 6. i love them and the quality compared to the saxo's are mint, love em but i love the drive of the saxo, gunna have to test drive one of these but wouldnt have one lol

Only the old ford Endura engines had a bad knack of tapping, Zetec and duratec engines are generally fine in that respect.

theyre only 50kg heavier than the saxo. no knocking or anything yet on mine... performance wise they are similar to a mk1 VTR

I'm sure my mate said they had started building them in the engine plant!

1.6 Turbo.

Probably the same engine thats in the 207 GTi and Mini Cooper S.

I could be wrong though!

well i have been told that they wont be making them for a while, but the rumour around ford was that it would be the ZS with a turbo whacked on it.

maybe they are making it, but wont be released for a year or two?

Would be pretty cool if they do a Turbo version.

But there will be to many fiesta's going round with dumpvalves then lol.
