Basically the girlfriends dad bought himself a cheap little M reg ford escort van just to do him for work ( hes a joiner ), its an absolute shed! Redish burgandy colour, rusty, banger!

Anyway it was in the garage getting work done when some guy popped into the garage and asked if he could have the owners details.

Soooo... the gf's dad got a phonecall today, basically asking if his van can be used in Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill's ( stars of chewin the fat and still game) new show, i dont know the name of it! They wanted an old red escort van! They have offered to pay him £80 everyday they use it. They want to use it quite alot so he could make a small fortune from this, the van only cost like 300 quid lol. So its to go for an audition next week :p...

Anyone else have any stories like this??? I thought it was very cool, veryy random, but cool!

I know a few people who rent out their houses for films/photoshoots etc.
Your looking at about £1500 a day then! depending on what its used for!

My mum is friends with the person who own the car in the Harry Potter films, old Ford Anglia I think.

Same thing happened to him - except he uses his for shows etc
